From what I got from searching this game, this was made as a school project by someone who did early beta testing for Incredibox with them having relations to Polo, Allan, and Romain themselves. In Summer of 2008 the first build which has yet be archived was sent on a coding forum. Some people tinkered around and added new characters. Phase 2 wasn't even in the initial builds, it was only when a 4chan anon got their hands on it and designed and composed most of horror mode by themselves. After a few years of getting shared around, the creator compiled some of their favorite mods including horror mode (with some of the designs toned down slightly) and made the final version of Sprunkin' Beats. It was then distributed on many sites including it's home site Lanerunner Games. It also appeared on NotDoppler and Kizi but was switfly taken down due to horror mode's inclusion causing a few angry parents to email Kizi to take down the game.
